About the practice
At Weingarden Psychological Services, we believe that healing looks different for everyone. That's why we don't offer a one-size-fits-all approach. Our team of licensed psychologists, therapists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners works together to create care that fits your life, your story, and your goals.
Founded by Dr. Jon Weingarden, PsyD, WPS has grown into a multidisciplinary team serving the greater Pittsburgh community with warmth, clinical depth, and genuine commitment to your well-being. From your very first conversation with us, you'll feel the difference.

Learn moreStart your journey with Us
Three simple, unhurried steps from a first message to ongoing care.
Contact us or request an appointment online. We'll match you with a provider whose expertise and approach feel like a good fit for what you're going through.
Before your first session, we'll send you a brief set of confidentiality, consent, and intake forms. Your first appointment is a conversation: a chance for us to learn about you, understand what's brought you in, and answer any questions you have.
Together we'll build a care plan around your needs, whether that means short-term focused work (typically 12 to 16 sessions) or longer-term ongoing support. You stay in control.
